Canopy Tree service has been a member of the Castle Rock and Larkspur communities for many years and takes pride in helping it look it’s best. Here are a few interesting facts that many people don’t know…

Castle Rock, Colorado is a picturesque town, located halfway between Denver and Colorado Springs and nestled next to the front range of the stunning Rocky Mountains, a short, 25 minute drive south of Denver.
Castle Rock has a lot to offer…. a great selection of boutique shops and well known retailers.  Although Denver is just a 25 minute drive north, there is no need to drive to Denver to enjoy a day of shopping. One of the best places to shop is the Outlets at Castle Rock, which is a bustling, modern mall, which offers designer brands such as Micheal Kors, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Coach and Banana Republic. Another fantastic place to shop is The Emporium which is a large building full of boutique, speciality stores. For those who enjoy shopping at antique stores, the Barn Antiques is a large historic barn with a large collection of antique stores.

Community events:
Castle Rock hosts a wide variety of fun events throughout the year. Including the Castle Rock Trail Festival that features a family friendly trail run and the Fall Festival at Festival Park which boasts seasonal vendors, pumpkins galore and plenty of fun and engaging activities. One of our favorite occasions is the annual star-lighting ceremony.
Castle Rock is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and offers 19 parks as well as over 51 miles of soft surface and paved trails. The most popular parks include Phillip S. Miller Park in the Red Hawk neighborhood, Founders and Mitchell Gulch park in Founders Village, and Rock park, Bison Park and Butterfield Park.

Castle Rock is the ideal location to find outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, zip-lining, rock climbing and golfing.  Castle Rock is located within a short drive of a long list of exceptional golf courses such as the Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course, the Country Club at Castle Pines, Perry Park Country Club, Plum Creek Golf Course, The Club at Pradera and The Ridge at Castle Pines North.

Castle Rock Recreation Center features a swimming pool, multiple water slides, racquetball courts and boot camp style fitness classes, it’s a great place to visit. Those who enjoy swimming will also appreciate the fact that Castle Rock offers a wide variety of swimming pools such as the Canyon Club Pool & Recreational Facility, the Butterfield Crossing Pool, the Burgess Pool, the Community Pool and the Founders Village pool. When it gets cold out, as winter approaches there is even an outdoor ice skating rink, Rink at the Rock. The Mac Miller activity center boasts fun for days with mountain biking trails, an incline for exercise enthusiasts, zip-lines, obstacle courses, an adventure filled indoor pool with slides, indoor soccer fields and jungle gyms. Excitement for the entire family, Castle Rock offers it all.

With some of the fastest growing zip codes in the country 80104, 80118, 80108, 80130 and 80134. Castle Rock offers a small town feel and numerous opportunities to explore the great outdoors, which is why so many people love it.
